DLH's attorneys have prosecuted and defended appeals in all of DLH's practice areas, both in the Illinois Appellate and Supreme Courts, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Recent appeals have involved:
• A bid dispute where one bidder challenged the low bidder's minority subcontractor
  participation on a public water works project

• Multiple interlocutory appeals of the granting of summary judgment and denial
  of various motions to strike pleadings, filed in a single injury case but with
  30 defendants and multiple chemical products

• Defense of a judgment in favor of our surety client on a payment and performance bond claim

• Defense of summary judgment in favor of our surety client on a fidelity bond claim where
  the claimant failed to provide timely notice to the surety of the existence of the loss
