Marc has a commercial practice emphasizing construction, surety, title insurance and other real estate law. He has over twenty-five years of litigation experience in state and federal courts, including bankruptcy courts. Marc has represented developers, contractors, sureties and title insurance companies and their insureds, as well as other commercial clients.

In representing developers and contractors, Marc has handled cases involving mechanics lien, breach of contract claims and construction defect claims.

In representing sureties, Marc has handled cases involving performance and payment bond claims, mechanics lien and breach of contract claims and construction defect claims.

In representing title insurance companies and their insureds, Marc has represented lenders in priority disputes with other lenders and mechanics lien claimants, and has handled fraud claims. Marc also has responded to coverage claims.

Marc's work has extended into specific performance, contract reformation, truth in lending, bankruptcy preferences, and priority disputes with IRS and judicial lien claimants. Previously, Marc was a partner with Riordan, Donnelly, Lipinski & McKee, Ltd., and before then, with Rudnick & Wolfe. He also served as a contracts administrator with the Cook County Office of Capital Planning and Policy.

Marc graduated with an A.B. from the University of Chicago (1976, Phi Beta Kappa), and received a J.D. from Stanford University in 1979.
